About the 14th Sumposium on Lactic Acid Bacteria
LABIP Award
The Lactic Acid Bacteria Industrial Platform will offer an award to a mid-career senior researcher based on outstanding excellence in LAB research with industrial relevance.
Language
The language of the Symposium will be English.
Venue
The Congress Centre “Hotel Zuiderduin” is in an attractive coastal setting near the city of Alkmaar, about one hour by train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Information on reaching “Hotel Zuiderduin” by car, train or bus can be found in the enclosed hotel brochure and on the Symposium website (www.labsymposium.org).
The hotel can accommodate most of the participants and has ample space for lectures and poster exhibitions. It also has indoor and outdoor recreational and sports facilities and it is within walking distance from the North Sea beach.
The number of participants will be limited to 450. In case the number of applicants exceeds this limit, the Organising Committee will prioritize participants presenting a poster.
Registration
Registration information
Registration can only be done by completing the registration form found at the registration page. The registration fee is all inclusive, and cover participation to the full five day scientific programme, hotel accommodation, dinners, lunches and the social programme.
Registration becomes valid ONLY after receipt of the registration fee, which should be paid before March 24th, 2023 for early registration and before August 15th, 2023 for late registration. Payment is possible by VISA, MasterCard, Paypal, bank payments and iDEAL. Be aware that a surcharge may apply. You will receive a confirmation of registration within 10 days of registration and payment.
Registration fee includes:
- Lunch and dinner during all days of the congress
- Participation to the entire scientific programme
- Refreshments during poster sessions.
- Entrance tickets and transportation to excursions
- Transportation to and from congress dinner & party
Further, the registration fee with a hotel room includes a four-night stay including breakfast at Hotel Zuiderduin.
We offer the possibility to book the night before (August 26th) at a reduced rate of € 100 pp.
